Solanum chacoense   cv. ‘Purple Wings’: Chaco Potato

This this accession was acquired by Joran's Seeds and Research in 2018, in the form of tubers, from Iwona Ziółkowska and Wojciech Maksymilian Szymański, Polish collectors of rare plants and selling on eBay under the identifier: lupinaster.

This is an accession propagated by vegetative propagation.  

Its tubers are bitter and have a purple skin.

The stems of this clone are also streaked with purple. Its flowers are white with yellow stamens. It flowers profusely and is very decorative in a container.  

Sexually, he is completely self-incompatible.

It has very high resistance to drought and trampling.
